Recovery/Resolution Associate - St. Charles, IA

We serve a diverse customer base within the health care community, including health care payers, providers, employers, pharmaceutical companies, consumers, workers’ compensation and auto liability insurers, and government agencies.   Primary Responsibilities: Initiate telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefits data. Investigate and pursue recoveries and payables on subrogation claims and file management. Process recovery from providers on overpayments. Ability to manage multiple demands Maintain accurate records of all communications in files and on the various systems Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance. Moderate work experience within own function. Some work is completed without established procedures. Basic tasks are completed without review by others. Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks. Apply knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day. Demonstrate a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function. Require little assistance with standard and non-standard requests. Solve routine problems on own. Work with supervisor to solve more complex problems. Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines. Work with others as part of a team. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required.  Insurance experience or subrogation experience preferred. 1+ year of multi-line switchboards and phone skills required. Overall attention to detail and organizational ability 1+ data entry required. Pleasant, outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the desire to work with and help people Experience with ICD9/CPT coding preferred. Computer experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook preferred.
