Recruiter, Regional Pharmacy (Licensed & Unlicensed Pharmacist)

The primary purpose of this position is to recruit and hire pharmacists for assigned regions. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.   The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: 1. Organize and implement plans to recruit pharmacists to fill preferred areas; recruit pharmacists from our competitors through direct services, cold calls, and canvassing. 2. Maintain a pharmacist leads database for assigned regions, track offers made to potential associates and follow up on declined offers. 3. Collaborate with Vice President of Professional & College Recruitment, Director of Pharmacy Staffing, Division Human Resource Director, Pharmacy Regional Vice Presidents, and Pharmacy Development Managers to report field staffing statistics and coordinate advertising for open pharmacist positions. 4. Communicate changes/updates in competitors compensation or benefit packages to the Pharmacy Regional Vice President and Division Human Resource Director 5. Assist the Director of Pharmacy Staffing with college recruitment days at colleges within their area; assist in the development of pharmacy recruitment programs with the Director of Pharmacy Staffing and schools. The following qualities are required:  Minimum age of 18 years old due to Education/Experience requirement. Ability to pass drug test. Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency. Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis. Ability to work extended days on an occasional basis. Ability to work day or evening hours. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects. Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes. Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines. The following qualities are helpful: Ten-key punch speed of 4,000 SPH. Typing speed of 60 WPM. Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Bachelor's degree (BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) or equivalent in Pharmacy, plus five (5) years' experience in Retail Pharmacy Operations, Human Resources, or Pharmacist Professional Recruitment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
