Redesign Project Specialist

This job requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, and a degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Clinical, or related scientific degree is preferred. Clinical experience is a plus. A minimum of three years experience in a hospital setting including project leadership experience is required and the ability to understand and apply the tools and techniques of Lean/Sigma into work process. You must have a strong interpersonal skills and must communicate and interact effectively with employees from all levels within the organization. Must have the ability to evaluate and discuss departmental issues in an objective and non-threating manner. Must be passionate about quality and knows how to facilitate cultural change/ Must have excellent speaking and presentation skills. Demonstrated proficiency with desktop computing and Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point is required. Experience with statistics and simulation/ business modeling software preferred. You must be able to teach Lean Six Sigma concepts to others on a just-in-time basis and be able to direct project teams in the collection, analysis, and presentation quantitative data and information.
