REFERENCE TECHNOLOGIST I (Douglasville, GA)

 

Join the American Red Cross Blood Services Team at our new state-of-the-art facility.  Exciting opportunities in an advanced fast-paced environment. 

Performs and interprets basic to moderate complexity serological test procedures in order to determine donor-recipient compatibility.  Resolves basic compatibility problems and may provide reference and consultative services to hospitals and transfusion facilities.  Provides antigen-negative units for transfusion recipients.   Medical Technologist (MT) degree and ASCP or equivalent certification required.  Reference Laboratory experience.  Bi-lingual a plus.Excellent benefits and competitive salary structure.  Background and reference checks, driving record and drug screens will be conducted.
