Regional Director

Genelle Edwards, CEO and owner of Empowerment Options has been dedicated to developing community living programs and integrated work settings in both the private and public sectors since 1974. She is devoted to enhancing services for people with retardation, and serves as a representative of various state-initiated task forces and work groups. Ms. Edwards is committed to providing quality services with a particular focus on respecting the choices and maintaining the individual rights of those she serves.

 

Our staff of dedicated professionals at Empowerment Options have experience creating programs to address the unique needs of those with developmental disabilities and related conditions. We work with other professionals in the community to provide specialized services for consumers in our community.

 

In addition, Empowerment Options employs a multi-tiered management team, which includes nurses, case workers and other professionals, to provide seamless support for the daily needs of individuals in our programs.

 

We currently have a new opportunity for a Regional Director for our East Texas services in the Houston/Conroe areas.  System development and management, accountability, and quality assurance will be the focus of this position for services that include ICF-MR, HCS, TXHm Living, and Day Activity Centers.  We are looking for experienced, dynamic manager who will add value to a quality oriented team.  Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience.
