Regional Document Collector

We are currently seeking a Regional Document Coordinator to assist document collection department in the collections and follow-up of signed prescriptions for supplies.

 

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:

1.  High School Diploma

2.  2+ years experience in Medical billing or Collections, a plus

3.  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel

4.  Knowledge of Medicare / Medicaid CPT codes

5.  Excellent verbal, written, communication and computer skills.

6. Must have car

 

Primary Functions:

 

1. Traveling to hospitals / physician’s office to obtain signatures on prescriptions.

2. Reporting to the office weekly to pick up, drop off documents and handle necessary follow-up

3. This position requires travel to the four boroughs of NYC on a daily basis so knowledge of this area and the mass transit system is required.

4. Proficient in Excel.
