Regional Manager of Clinical Services (RN)

   Thank you for visiting our new opportunity!  We're seeking a Registered Nurse who enjoys helping other RNs succeed in providing the highest quality services to our patients and clients.  We're seeking a nurse with a strong knowledge of the long term care/skilled nurse environment, nurse supervision experience, and a knack for communicating your wealth of knowledge to those who manage our subacute units in California.  This is a unique opportunity to leave the single facility scene and support our managers in a regional scope!  Please read below to see if this is the next career step for you.  If so, call or email your resume right away!  POSITION SUMMARY: · The function of this position is to provide management oversight, consultation, education and evaluation to VitalCare America hospital and skilled nursing-based subacute units in California· Provide support to the Unit Clinical Managers and Nursing Administration in assigned facilities and to assist in the coordination and provision of standard policies and procedures, forms, criterion for assuring the provisions of quality services, and regional educational meetings of Clinical Managers.   RESPONSIBLE TO: Indirectly responsible to the Director of Clinical and Quality Services and directly responsible to the Vice President of Operations   POSITION RELATIONSHIP: ·  · Associate shall serve on Operational Leadership Team (OLT) representing interests of Clinical Services and Unit Operations. · Liaison and consultant to contracted facility personnel which includes, but is not limited to: Administrator, CEO, CNO, CFO, Infection Control, Risk Management, Education, Human Resources, Business Office, Case Management, MDS Coordinator, Nursing Staff and Social Worker. · Liaison to VCA executive, direct service and corporate support personnel. · Liaison for the delivery of quality services and programs. · Provides direct supervision to Clinical Managers and other applicable positions per contact.   QUALIFICATIONS:  Professional · Current valid licensure to practice as Registered Nurse in California. · Knowledge of Licensure Regulations including Title 22 and OBRA · Minimum of three years nursing experience required, one of which has been in supervision.  · Previous SNF experience required with consulting experience desired. · Computer Skills, to include but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, E-Mail, Internet Research· · Understanding of MDS Assessments in relation to Medicare payment POSITION INFORMATION COMPANY: VitalCare LOCATION: Northern or Southern CA, CA STATUS: Full Time, Employee JOB CATEGORY: Medical/Health CAREER LEVEL: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff)CONTACT INFORMATION COMPANY: VitalCare CONTACT: Laura Dimiceli EMAIL: Apply by Email PHONE: 866-228-0884
