Concentra is seeking to hire a Zone Manager for our On-Site Medical Programs in the Southeast. This opportunity will be based in Atlanta working out of our Administrative Office for the Southeast Zone. Requires previous experience working with and managing Occupational Health and Wellness programs. COHN or eligible is requested. Qualified candidates will have previous management experience, good customer service, communication and computer skills.JOB SUMMARY:Directs the development and administration of occupational and environmental health and safety services for clients to achieve successful maintenance and growth goals of Company on-site programs throughout assigned region in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, and procedures and applicable regulations.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ' Develops, implements and maintains new and existing policies, procedures, and training programs for all assigned on-site services.' Cooperates and assists in all training programs for Company personnel including the maintenance of all credentials and certifications of staff.' Manages on-site services provided by Company to client companies, including billing counseling, day-to-day management of on-site personnel, and, in consultation with company Human Resources Department personnel, hiring, discipline, and termination.' Develops, implements and administers the policies and procedures of the occupational and environmental health and safety program, consistent with Concentra and the client's (if applicable) general policies concerning health services.' Develops and manages the budget that provides for efficient and cost effective occupational and environmental health and safety services, including vendor services.' Plans, develops, and promotes the necessary resources to operate the occupational health service.' Maintains and safeguards the confidentiality of employee health information and medical records.' Assigns work responsibilities and work schedules, monitors work assignments, and evaluates staff performance.' Coordinates orientation of new occupational health nurses and other health services personnel, including opportunities for in-service education/staff development and continuing professional educations.' Critically evaluates reported research applicability of findings to practice.' Provides occupational health information for the ongoing employee education and new employee orientation programs designed to prevent injury and illness and optimize health by promoting effective management of personal health problems.' Conducts and documents program evaluation which includes measurement of immediate and long term outcomes, quality of interventions, and cost benefit analysis.' Conducts/participates in on-site tours of client companies with Company Physician and/or sales personnel. ' Ensures client company's needs/requests are met by all Company personnel.' Prepares and maintains annual budgets for on-site services within approved Company guidelines.' Assumes responsibility for own professional development and continuing education.' Assists with proposal delivery, follow up, contract implementation and annual renewal process.' Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:' Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state(s) of employment and practice' Baccalaureate degree in nursing and certification in occupational health nursing preferred.JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE:' 5 years experience in occupational health nursing preferred.' 5 years of staff management experience required. DEMONSTRATED JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:' Current knowledge of laws and regulations that govern occupational and environmental health and safety.' Current knowledge of community health principles applicable to occupational and environmental health and safety.' Knowledge of workers' compensation and clinical procedures and all processes involved in the delivery of quality care.' Medical knowledge; techniques and information needed to treat human injuries/illnesses.' Customer and personal service knowledge including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.' Reading comprehension' Monitoring to make improvements or take corrective action' Knowledge of human behavior and performance' Administration and management principles' Time management; ability to prioritize and administer multiple projects' Ability to work independently' Computer literate, including Word, Power Point, Excel.' Judgment and decision making ability.' Active listening skills.' Ability to effectively communicate information to supervisors, peers or customers.
