A Regional Rehab Director:

•Directs, guides, develops and supports multiple levels of market based Rehab Directors, Specialty Directors, and Team Leaders in the areas of management, sales/earnings growth, and attaining financial goals. Presents/communicates regional and corporate goals/objectives including strategies/tactics and modifies/develops/implements these objectives.

•Evaluates performance improvement needs in conjunction with the Regional Director of Clinical Operations and implements action plans to ensures the clinical integrity and quality of Rehab and Specialty services of credentialed locations in the region. Responsible for achieving optimal percentage of accurate/timely outcome data, analyzes results using outcomes benchmarking methodology for national, regional and location comparison according to Specialty standards.

•Develops objectives and strategies for regional Rehab and Specialties business opportunities, and related Specialties operational issues. Analyzes financial data from all Specialty locations in the region in planning for growth. Coordinates and collaborates with regional sales leadership in growth planning initiatives. Advises the Regional Vice President of markets with opportunity for profitability improvement or enlarged Specialty growth.

•Leads regional Rehab and Specialties recruitment and retention activities in conjunction with the Area Recruitment Managers and market based Specialties leadership. Plans and leads statewide and region wide Specialties staffing strategies. Conducts on-site visits for evaluation of the human resource needs of Specialties across the region. Focuses on integration of interdisciplinary teams and resource sharing targeted to foster retention of Specialties credentialed associates at multiple levels, novice to expert.

•Conducts individual development plans/evaluations and developmental training with Rehab teams including Specialty Directors, Team Leaders, and Rehab Directors to obtain optimum staff performance levels.

•Ensures compliance with standards/company policies/procedures and external regulatory requirements. Ensures that clinical associate documentation meets these requirements.

•Performs all duties inherent in a leadership and managerial role.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's Degree in physical therapy or the equivalent.

•A minimum of ten years health care industry experience generally required, including five years in a leadership role managing multiple incumbents of varied clinical disciplines generally required.

•Broad knowledge of home health agency regulations and administration

•Excellent organization, problem-solving, decision-making, presentation, and communications skills
