As the Regional Vice President of Sales with Gentiva, you will:
•Perform as key sales executive on region management team.
•Be responsible for driving region’s overall revenue, business mix and sales strategy.
•Develop/implement regional business plans to include an overall growth strategy, annual sales plan and sales budget. Maintain sales/revenue trends to ensure regional operating goals are met on a consistent basis.
•Manage regional sales organization and activities to meet/exceed regional sales targets. Determine regional sales deployment requirements and work within established Company guidelines in order to achieve regional sales goals in a timely and efficient manner.
•Develop/recommend marketing strategies, identifying synergies between existing lines of business to maximize product distribution, as well as new business opportunities that expand our current product portfolio and increases profitable revenue stream.
•Work closely with Vice President of Sales, CareCentrix, Gentiva Rehab Without Walls, Gentiva Consulting, Management Services and other product line managers to maximize strategic initiatives at the field operating level.
•Develop/recommend regional sales expense budget. Monitor/manage expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a health related science or the equivalent
•Master’s Degree in Business Administration preferred
•A minimum of ten years sales and sales management experience generally required
•Experience in healthcare industry essential with a preference for experience in related fields of home nursing and infusion services
•Good financial skills, along with a strong history of growth performance and budget achievements and strategic planning
•Experience in managing functions, divisions or areas with a combined scope of $50 Million in annual revenues are necessary
•Experience in managing multiple product line offerings and broad knowledge of insurance, case management, the self-insured and managed care (HMO, PPO) marketplace, and the health/homecare industry
•Strong knowledge of nursing/infusion therapy/rehabilitation/pediatric services and related pricing models
•Excellent communication/negotiating skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff
