Job DescriptionTo qualify for the position of Intensive Care RN, this position requires a minimum of one-year experience in Med/Surg with successful completion of the critical care course or a minimum of one year experience in ICU. ACLS is mandatory. This position requires a willingness to participate in in-service education after initial orientation, interest in giving direct patient care, and a desire to do Patient/Family teaching. This position requires continuous updating of nursing knowledge through Continuing Education Seminars, In-service, Journals and Professional Organizations. Requires good physical and mental health.
