Registered Nurse - Group Health / Pre-Certification Case Management RN

We are currently seeking a Group Health Pre-Certification / Case Management Nurse to handle utilization and case management for a variety of patients.  The position will be out of our Hamilton, NJ Regional office and can be full or part time depending on your desired status.  Competitive salary and excellent benefits package even if part time!  Monday through Friday workweek during normal business hours.  No holidays, weekends, or shift rotation!

 

Responsibilities Include:Perform Utilization Management Processes to include Pre-certification, Concurrent Review, Discharge Planning etc. for self-insured employer groups.Perform Case Management for pediatric and adult patient populations with variety of catastrophic diagnoses. Maintains a collaborative process in which continually evaluates, assesses, plans, facilitates, advocates, coordinates and problem solves for each individual patient requesting treatment authorization.

Qualifications:

  Required:Registered Nurse ( RN license )Utilization Review/Case Management Group Health experienceExcellent written/verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills

  PreferredCCM Understanding of Milliman Care GuidelinesUnderstanding of URAC standards
