You are invited to join and inspired and dedicated team by applying today.What would you be doing?As our client’s RN, you would coordinate the delivery of medical care to the facility’s residents. Your responsibilities would include: Coordinating medical aspects of admissions Performing annual physical examinations Coordinating with outside physicians and clinics to schedule special needs appointments as needed Collecting and assessing residents’ medical data systematically and regularly to ensure all records are up to date Working with members of treatment staff to develop Individual Treatment Plans for patients Tracking patients’ progress with therapists and clinical supervisors Coordinating staff training in CPR, first aid, infection control and medication administration Remaining current in changes to nursing practices and technology through additional training, research, workshops and professional affiliations Ensuring confidentiality regarding residents’ medical backgrounds and treatment issuesYour talent belongs here.We’re after a motivated RN eager to make a difference helping children by providing expert care. Here are a few things we’re seeking in the ideal candidate: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois A valid driver’s license issued by the state of Illinois The ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance, up to 100 lbs with assistance Must have flexibility to bend, twist and reach as needed Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel An Associate's degree is preferred Previous experience in a licensed residential facility is appreciated Familiarity with working with adolescents is preferred Diverse knowledge of medications and side effects is a plus Previous experience working with ADD, developmentally delayed, sexually abused or sexually abusive patients is ideal Certification or training in TCI techniques is a plusWhat’s so great about this job, anyway?Our client is a widely-recognized national leader in rehabilitating youth, so if you’re looking to be part of a rewarding and influential organization, look no further.
