Registered Nurse Management

Director of Case Management, RN:  Responsible on a 24-hour basis for the overall planning, development, implementation, and ongoing operation of the Care Management department.  Provides leadership and direction to staff members.  Coordinates activities to ensure a smooth continuum of care process throughout the organization.  Responsible for staffing and developing standards of operation, policies and procedures, quality management/outcome measures, and the capital and operational budgets.  Ensures the department is in full compliance with standards/guidelines of the Texas Medical Foundation, Texas Department of Health, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and JCAHO.

Required qualifications:  Bachelor's degree, required.  Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas;  A minimum of five years experience as an RN in which clinical expertise and leadership have been demonstrated.  Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.  Certification in clinical specialty or Case Management preferred.

Director of Medical Surgical Department, RN:  Responsible on a 24-hour basis for the overall planning, development, implementation, and ongoing operation of the Medical Surgical department.  Provides leadership and direction to staff members.  Coordinates activities to ensure a smooth continuum of care process throughout the organization.  Responsible for staffing and developing standards of operation, policies and procedures, quality management/outcome measures, and the capital and operational budgets.  Ensures the department is in full compliance with standards/guidelines of the Texas Medical Foundation, Texas Department of Health, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and JCAHO.
