Clinical One Case Management Group is currently seeking a Registered Nurse- RN Precertification Supervisor, Job # 125988, Watertown, MA. 

 

Under the administrative direction of the Manager of the Precertification Department, the Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of all daily Precertification Department activities performed by the Clinical, analytical and support staff within his/her team and monitors daily work activity including the monitoring of the telephone queues and regulatory turnaround times. The Supervisor represents the department on interdepartmental committees requiring clinical input such as, but not limited, to the Clinical Coverage Committee, Risk Management, and Member Appeals Committees. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all regulatory requirements for utilization functions are met by prospective monitoring and retrospective auditing. The Supervisor is responsible for performance management of the members of his/her team including assisting direct reports in career development as needed. The supervisor also monitors metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to identify trends in Utilization Management and provides input regarding resource allocation to the Manager of Precertification.

 

Qualifications: Registered Nurse, current Massachusetts License Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Business Administration required. 

 

Experience: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience required Minimum of 2 years prior supervisory experience required Utilization Management in a managed care environment required.  Proficiency in business writing. 

 

Salary in the low 70's with a very competitive incentive package!
