Job Description:
Performs primary functions of the RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of the adult and geriatric patient. St. Camillus is a 34 bed medical/surgical/ telemetry unit. Twenty four telemetry units are available as are four negative pressure rooms. The nursing focus is the care of the adult and geriatric cardiopulmonary patient. Special services include telemetry monitoring, care of the pre- and post-cardiac catheterization patient, cardiac teaching, cardiac telemetry post critical care discharge, infectious diseases requiring negative pressure isolation or general room isolation, post primary cardiac event, undiagnosed syncopal event, alteration in cardiac rhythm, acute sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-operative cardiac pacer placement or complication monitoring and cardioversion.



Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, licensed in Massachusetts. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification. Telemetry experience helpful.
