Responsibilities:

To provide direct patient nursing care via the telephone.  The licensed professional nurse utilizes the nursing process composed of the following elements: Assessment, Analysis, Plan, Implementation, and Evaluation to provide this delivery of care through telephone technology.  The telehealth nursing practice incorporates health advice, health care coordination, health promotion and patient care follow-up. 

 

Qualifications:

A professional registered nurse with current Massachusetts licensure required.  The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of telephone systems for telehealth and computer applications for telehealth nursing.  Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
