JOB DESCRIPTION



The Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of compliance projects and activities in support of the Compliance Plan and strategic objectives of the organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, identification, design and implementation of compliance activities involving internal stakeholders, Plan Partners, contracted provider groups, regulatory agencies, members and providers. Activities include Claims Settlement Practices and Provider Disputes, Disproportionate Share Hospital interventions and activities, workplan deliverables designed to enhance our compliance with laws, regulations and contract requirements; consulting with internal departments on compliance related projects.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Required:
Bachelors Degree. In lieu, of Bachelors Degree, relevant work experience will be considered.

Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration, or Public Health.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-- 2 years project management experience.
-- 1 year in a managed care organization, working with and managing reports/projects mandated by the regulatory requirements.
-- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, and meet deadlines;
-- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
