About Our FacilityHEALTHSOUTH Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River is located at the beautiful Jersey Shore. For the past 40 years we have served the New Jersey community offering several dynamic post acute levels of care. Our diversified services include: 92 licensed inpatient rehabilitation beds, 24 licensed special care nursing facility (SCNF) beds, 13 skilled nursing facility (SNF) beds and two (2) outpatient satellites located in Toms River and Jackson, New Jersey. Job DescriptionPrepares patients and equipment for physical therapy and treatments. Performs tasks to maintain the department in an orderly condition. Prepares equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs. Removes and replaces braces, splints, and slings for patient bodies before and after treatment. Assists therapist to support patient during amputation and gait training. Changes linens and cleans and stores equipment after use.
