About Our FacilityHealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Virginia is a 40-bed inpatient hospital with an outpatient and day program, specializing in orthopaedic, stroke, pulmonary, and deconditioned patients. Comprehensive MS Center, nationally certified Pulmonary Program, and a recognized Stroke Center of Excellence. Job DescriptionPrepares patients and equipment for physical therapy and treatments. Performs tasks to maintain the department in an orderly condition. Prepares equipment such as hydrotherapy tanks, paraffin bath, and hot packs. Removes and replaces braces, splints, and slings for patient bodies before and after treatment. Assists therapist to support patient during amputation and gait training. Changes linens and cleans and stores equipment after use.
