Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist

CSG, a leading provider of mental health, mental retardation, children’s and eldercare services has an opportunity for a Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist in our adult mental health services Tempo vocational and psychiatric rehabilitation program.

 

The clubhouse program members and staff work side by side to keep the clubhouse running and to build a strong sense of ownership by the members. The program assists members by providing supportive employment and job loss prevention to help members prepare for, find, and maintain competitive employment. The program also provides social and holiday activities for the members.

 

 

Job Description



 

The Clubhouse Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for working in an International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD) standards-based clubhouse.  He/she works closely with the members of the clubhouse and the other staff members to assist in the operation of all functions of the clubhouse.

 

Job Duties

 

Participate with members in the work-ordered day unit work.Monitor and coordinate work units and other daily clubhouse activities.Encourage and support member participation and attendance at the clubhouseWork with members to develop rehabilitation plans and reviews and to complete progress notes.Participates in weekend/holiday/evening social activities as assigned Provide member transportation as needed.Complete administrator duties as assignedMaintain commitment to the integrity of the clubhouse model as outlined in the standards published by the ICCDParticipate in Job Development and Community Employment activities to assist members in returning to competitive employmentRepresent the clubhouse as a liaison with other programs of Community Services Group, community organizations, and funding sources.

   

 Job Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree in the human services field

Or

High school graduate (or equivalent) with four years of experience in human services and/or vocational rehabilitation and/or psychiatric rehabilitation

 

 Condition of Employment

 

Must have a valid driver’s license;

Must be able to provide own transportation

Must be able to work flexible schedules including evening and weekends

Must pass criminal background clearances
