Reimbursement/Quality Control Specialist

Empi, a progressive leader in physical medicine/orthopedic products, located in Shoreview, has an immediate full time opening for a Reimbursement/Quality Control Specialist.

Responsibilities include operating the reimbursement helpline to provide support to customers, ensuring contract quality control and corporate compliance of our payor contracts.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:BS, BA degree in business, healthcare or related field.Excellent communication and organizational skills, including strong attention to detail.Excellent computer skills in database management and research.  Proficient knowledge in Excel and Word.Ability to think strategically and work independently.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:Customer service experience.Two to three years of experience in the medical, hospital or payor industry.Two to three years of experience in the reimbursement field.Working knowledge of Medicare policies and procedures and the healthcare insurance industry.Familiarity and success working in a cross-functional environment.Strong anayltical skills and demonstrated abiilty to summarize and communicate information.
