Renovation Project Supervisor

Interested applicants should contact David Boulay at 781-391-5400 ext 215, Fax resume to 781-391-4254, or email dave.boulay@genesishcc.com POSITION SUMMARY: The Renovation Project Supervisor will be responsible for the renovation of resident rooms and other areas of the building as instructed by the Maintenance Director and/or Administrator. The Supervisor will be responsible for ordering and requisitioning supplies and equipment as needed within budgets and will also perform regular daily, weekly and monthly maintenance checks as directed by the Maintenance Director. The Renovation Project Supervisor follows established safety rules and policies and procedures of the maintenance department, keeps required records and submits them to the Maintenance Director/Administrator when required, and cooperates with other employees and department heads.RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Works closely with and follows directions from the maintenance director;2. Maintains building and grounds in a clean, safe and orderly condition;3. Tearing down, cutting, and hanging dry wall;4. Prepares and paints / wallpapers surfaces according to regulations and standard trade practices;5. Makes minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, ceilings, walls, roofs, and others as assigned by the Maintenance Director.6. Maintains and repairs basic functions of the center as determined by the maintenance director/supervisor;7. Takes care of the tools and equipment;8. Assists the Maintenance Director / Administrator in budget process for renovations;9. Attends Department Head Meetings and sits on required committees;10. Remains on call, when assigned, for 24 hours a day;11. Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights;12. Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:1. High school degree or equivalent required.2. Basic training in electrical, plumbing, heating and HVAC systems.3. Interior and Exterior painting, drywall repair, wallpapering, tiling, carpentry, and/or ceiling repair experience required.4. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
