Position Description:

The Joseph Stokes Jr. Research Institute seeks candidates for a Research Administration Fellowship. While rotating through the major administrative departments of the Joseph Stokes Jr. Research Institute of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the fellow will work closely with departmental directors who will both mentor and supervise the rotations. The fellowship experience is designed to give the fellow an experience with the core components of the Institute. Responsibilities Include:Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance.Rotate through three or four major departments, as mutually agreed upon, within The Joseph Stokes Jr. Research Institute.Develop a performance plan within each departmental rotation that meets the fellow's interest in enhancing professional growth and development.Work collaboratively with Senior Leadership in the Research Institute.This position is a one year internship.To learn more about the Joseph Stokes Jr. Research Institute and its research programs visit: www.stokes.chop.edu Interested candidates may apply online at: www.chop.edu/careers

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or higher in a Scientific field. Good oral and written communication skills, organization and the ability to work independently are necessary for the successful completion of several projects.
