 Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a state-of-the-art, 920 bed, tertiary acute care academic medical center affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California Los Angeles, is committed to excellence in compassionate patient care, research, and community programs to improve the lives of our patients.The department of Rheumatology is seeking a Research Project Assistant II to join its team.  Some essential responsibilies of the position include: Assure compliance with FDA and NIH regulations and good clinical practices for study site Prepare application packets, including consent forms, and submit to the IRB and to the Clinical Research Center Prepare all crtitical study related documents (FDA forms, radiation safety, etc) and submit to appropriate departments Maintain accurate information and ensure that all regulatory documents are correct, processed and approved Prepare and submit all amendments, updates, continuing reviews, adverse events, reports and other modifications Coordinate studies at investigator's sites and assists the study team in the conduct of site visitsEducational Requirements Minimum BA/BS required. Medical terminology required, proficient in Windows and MS office. Experience Minimum two years experience working in research environments, preferably in medical research Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, pharmaceutical companies, and other project personnel Demonstrated leadership ability to establish intradepartmental administrative systems and achieve orderly, acccurate, and timely work flow www.cedars-sinai.edu/jobs  No phone calls, please.
