McAuley Commons, a premier HUD independent senior living community with 59 units, has an opening for a Resident Service Coordinator.  McAuley Commons, located at 11500 Shoemaker, Detroit, MI, 48213, is part of Trinity Continuing Care Services (TCCS), a member organization of Trinity Health. TCCS operates seven HUD senior apartment communities, eight senior housing communities, four assisted living residences, 12 long-term care living centers, and two continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs).

 

The selected candidate will have demonstrated proficient organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, effective program management capabilities.  The candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing resident’s needs, assisting residents with programs and solutions for managing their activities of daily living, and coordinating community service providers for educational sessions and support services.

 

A Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Gerontology is preferred.  Minimum 2 – 5 years experience with Demonstrated leadership qualities, strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, and a genuine zeal for senior care services.  Please send your resume and salary requirements to browanne@trinity-health.org or fax to (313) 923-4109.
