SUMMARY OF POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under general supervision, duties include all patient billing, oxygen rounds, patient equipment changes, transporting and set up of respiratory equipment, day to day operating equipment, compressed gas cylinders for all departments and stocking equipment at various locations.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

1. Requires reading, writing and mathematical skills at a level generally acquired through completion of a high school education.

2. Deal effectively with people and have knowledge and skills of relatively simple materials and equipment and able to follow routine procedures.

3. Requires knowledge of division policies and procedures relating to cylinder replacement, oxygen rounds and patient charges at a level generally acquired during on-the-job orientation and training.

4. Must be able to establish rapport with other members of the division staff and assist them as requested.
