Revenue Recovery Analyst II
Public Sector Partners, an innovative and unique consulting company which manages a variety of healthcare related programs, is seeking a Revenue Recovery Analyst to join our team. This position will be located in Oakland, California.
The Revenue Recovery Analyst is responsible for supporting the Revenue Recovery unit. This individual will perform a variety of duties that contribute to the Revenue Recovery Unit operational process. The Analyst will work with providers and team members to meet strict timeframes, respond to telephone inquiries from providers, research issues and provide timely responses.
Major responsibilities:
Assist with processing all incoming departmental mail as well as process outgoing mail.Create, retrieve and fax files, records and documents.Address all inbound messages on the provider phone line. Direct unresolved messages to appropriate persons and record messages as needed and conduct outbound calls to providers as required.Enter data from cases into a specialized application to capture critical information on cases.Initiate, follow up and follow through on cases including tracking of data in the specialized application, generation of reports, and written/verbal communication with team members and business partners.Participate in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrate the use of quality improvement in daily operations.Participate in team meetings; attend internal and external training as needed.Interact with business partners as required.Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations as required.
Qualifications for this role are:
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility. Experience providing high quality customer service to high volume outbound and inbound phone calls.1-3 years experience with Worker’s Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident Claims or MCO Recovery processing is preferred.
