Risk Prevention Coordinator

Responsible for day to day risk prevention identification and trending to optimize quality and patient safety. Coordinates efforts and meetings at assigned facilities to expedite team identification, root cause analysis and identify improvement plan, measure success of action plan and create records and follow up metrics for meetings. Develops and maintains data base, assists with coordination of improvement activities, prepares reports and presentations, conducts leading practice research, utilizes facilitation skills, data analysis and statistical process controls, works collaboratively to facilitate improvement teams to achieve facility and system quality and patient safety goals.



Bachelors degree required. Masters preferred. RN or other clinical licenser preferred. Certification in health care quality, patient safety or related regulatory entity preferred. Knowledge of Lean concept's preferred. Intermediate to advanced computer skills and previous experience or knowledge of TJC preferred.
