Routing Specialist/Dispatcher

SUMMARY
The Routing Specialist/Dispatcher is responsible for daily coordination with Operations to facilitate the moves of all mobile imaging systems. The RS will develop an efficient plan for routing the systems and implement the plan with the Logistics staff. Further, the RS will work closely with the Logistic Manager and Driver Supervisor to make sure that all FMCSR regulations are followed and the vehicles are maintained to meet DOT safety standards.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Works with Operations, the Logistic Manager and Logistic Supervisor to build the most efficient routes. possible to meet the needs of Alliance customers.
2. Coordinates overnight stays with Drivers and arranges for lodging.
3. Works with the Logistic Manager and Drivers to build a cohesive team structure that will facilitate quality customer service.
4. Maintains DOT qualifications in regards to Hours of Service; reports Hours of Service to Logistic Manager on a weekly basis or as needed to prevent violation.
5. Assists the Logistic Manager with dissemination of information and collection of required paperwork from the Logistics staff.
6. Coordinates unit schedule with Manager of Technical Service in regards to planned trailer or medical system maintenance.

Minimum three years experience in a lead driver, supervisor or dispatcher role. Knowledge of current tractor trailer operations including FMCSA regulations in regards to hours of service and federal labor law standards.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Hepatitis B Screening or waiver required.

Qualified applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office and related programs. Experience Fleetwise strongly preferred.
