SALES MANAGER I
Managing a sales team of 14, the successful candidate will help us meet and exceed enrollment, recruitment, quality, service and retention goals, as well as ensure adherence to all federal/state laws and regulations, and develop tactics/tools that will help the sales team to attain those goals/objectives. Responsibilities will include: supervising and monitoring the day-to-day activities of sales staff providing sales data/reports to management hiring, training, motivating and coaching staff managing lead distribution and tracking facilitating sales meetings monitoring both inbound and outbound calls handling other related functions as necessaryThe numbers oriented, sales-savvy professional we seek will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field, NJ Health Insurance License, and 3+ years of health insurance sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Ability to develop sales scripts, lead a sales team, utilize logic in problem-solving, and analyze data will be expected, as will excellent oral/written communication, PC and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of database marketing and the ability to design and implement procedures/work flow to support the sales process also essential. Experience in a call center environment and marketing to seniors preferred.We offer a convenient location next to Penn Station, Newark, and are easily accessible by train, bus or car.
