SCHEDULING ASSOCIATE

LIFE Pittsburgh is a community-based alternative to nursing home care. We assist older adults in maintaining quality, dignity and autonomy in their lives by supporting the family unit within the context of a holistic and faith-based approach to medical and social services.

We provide guidance for older adults who wish to remain in their own home, but who have health problems that prohibit their ability to safely do so. Traditional and non-traditional services are combined to support the individual and encourage an independent lifestyle. Services are provided on an individual basis to tailor a flexible, yet comprehensive, medical and supportive plan of care.

Through the LIFE Pittsburgh program, frail and fragile seniors can remain in their own homes and receive a coordinated plan of care that enables them to maintain their independence and enjoy a safe and active life in the community.

LIFE Pittsburgh is currently seeking a Scheduling Associate to work in collaboration with the LIFE Pittsburgh Day Center Manager to ensure that clinical staffing needs are met such as scheduling, coordinating and maintaining in order to meet the needs of our Participants. The Scheduling Associate will coordinate the use of LIFE Pittsburgh Staff as well as external PRN staff to ensure consistent quality of services for both internal and external staffing needs. Will be responsible for the collection, management and reporting of Participant scheduling information as directed by the Day Center Manager. Will also assist in collection and tracking of information related to the Personal Care Assistants' job description. Must be well organized, show great attention to detail and have Microsoft Excel experience. 1-2 yrs Patient Scheduling and HS Diploma required. Must also be willing to work alternative shifts.
