Your leadership qualities and special Behavioral Health insights will be ideal for this wide-ranging and career-enhancing position. As our Senior Associate Director, your involvement will include the reviewing and monitoring of Kings County Hospital Center's Behavioral Health Services sentinel events, incident reporting, regulatory compliance, performance improvement and reporting, as well as recommended opportunities for improvement on all RCAs. Your communication skills will be highly valued as you conduct regular meetings and provide staff education on occurrence reporting, RCA, Plan of Corrective, and expert technical assistance. You will monitor results of POCA on risk reduction and prevention/decrease of occurrences, and complete reports with analysis and trending, coordinating with accreditation and regulatory agencies and liaising with non-Behavioral Health services when required.

 

This is a full-time position. Master's Degree in Nursing with 5 years experience in Quality Assurance and Occurrence reporting, Health Policy or Public Health required, plus experience in Behavioral Health Care Services. Strong writing/computer skills and familiar with incident reporting and sentinel events processes. Knowledge of fundamental health care organization and policy.
