SENIOR/LEAD AUDITOR

Effectively oversee the completion of audits (financial, operational and compliance) that help measure and safeguard the company’s assets. In this position, you will: monitor compliance with policies and procedures; review audit flowcharts, documentation and workpapers; report your findings and strategic recommendations to management; and help develop staff auditors. Specific duties include: evaluating the accuracy of financial reporting and the adequacy of internal controls, consulting on Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, performing quality assessment reviews of documentation and testing, and participating on various task forces and committees.To qualify, you must have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or statistics and five years of auditing experience, including one at the supervisory level. Excellent planning, multitasking, computer, leadership, communication and team motivation skills are needed, along with strong knowledge of STAT, GAAP, accounting controls, and audit concepts/techniques.
