SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST-PAS - EMHS

Key Responsibilities
This position will support all EMHS companies that currently, or will in the future, utilize the Siemens Patient Accounting System and its related software/technical solutions to ensure efficient processes and similar practices where possible. This position is responsible for supporting the day to day operation and maintenance of the Siemens Invision Patient Accounting System and other peripheral systems/applications utilized within the PAS department. The Senior Systems Analyst assists the PAS Application Manager in identifying customer's needs, developing and documenting effective solutions, as well as implementing and maintaining these solutions, and is responsible for automating processes and streamlining operations wherever possible. This position will train Operations Support Department staff to effectively and accurately maintain the applications used by the PAS department, and assist in evaluation of all software updates, regulatory changes, and new functionality to measure the impact on the organizations and help plan the implementation. The Senior Systems Analyst will work closely with managers to insure the system setup meets the needs of the PAS department. This individual will participate in all phases of system implementation and/or upgrades including preparation, requirements definition, specification, system design, testing, training and installation.

Job Requirements

REVISED POSTING 2-9-08: Bachelor Degree required Two or more years experience within the operations of patient accounting departments, preferred Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse people and possesses excellent human relations skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Ability to analyze complex issues and solve them efficiently and creatively Flexible and able to react to ever changing priorities Seeks and supports organizational changes Committed to the position, PAS department, and EMHS - willing to commit the time and effort to meet the needs of customers Willingness to travel to Affiliate hospitals (10 - 20% of time) Ability to effectively train and share systems knowledge Two or more years experience with Siemens patient accounting systems preferred
