SR Director: Corporate Relations-(Heart Walk) Richmond, VA

The Heart Walk is a grassroots, corporate based event that brings together thousands of people from across the area to raise funds. Serving as a field account manager for key accounts, you will ensure that a plan exists for recruiting team captains and walkers to meet specific company goals. Specific responsibilities include:* Conduct sales calls to generate new business and manage existing companies. * Goal set with corporate companies and individuals to raise money. * Responsible for developing and cultivating relationships within existing accounts as well as identifying and securing prospect companies with a strong focus on the area's top 200 employers. * Work with volunteers to achieve goals within company accounts and as part of event leadership. * Develop effective working relationships with volunteers, sponsors & key corporate & community leaders.* Recruit, manage and motivate volunteers to recruit walkers and raise money. * Perform other duties as assigned.Experience:Qualifications include:* BA degree and a min. 5 years successful experience in sales, grassroots marketing, or fundraising or a combination thereof.* Results driven with the ability to multitask. * Ability to accomplish results through strong Volunteer management* Strong computer and organizational skills.* Highly skilled and effective in oral and written communications. * Ability to travel in assigned territory and work flexible hours.
