STAFF RN, EXTENDED RECOVERY UNIT, 2ND SHIFT

The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care, resolving patient care problems and dealing with patients and their families, often during stressful situations. Ability to walk and stand continuously (up to eighty percent of work time) and occasionally lift and positions patients (up to twenty percent of work time).
