Position Title:  Clinical Application Sales Solutions Consultant

 

Summary: Primary Clinical Solutions consultant that works in conjunction with healthcare organizations to successfully implement an achieving and electronic medical records solution appropriate for their enterprise. In addition, works as a member of the internal product development team as a Clinical consultant to ensure the development of acceptable healthcare applications based on standard clinical practice within a hospital or healthcare organization.



Duties and Responsibilities:

 Act as the Primary liaison for Administrative, Nursing and Clinical departments within a healthcare organization during application selection, procedure development and implementation of the Electronic Medical record Solution.

 Utilize acceptable nursing and clinical documentation procedures during the assessment and recommendation of enterprise wide electronic medical record process development and implementation.

 

 Provides healthcare organizations with clinical solutions for transition from a Paper medical record to an Electronic Medical record based on established Nursing and medical practice standards.

 Assures compliance to HIPPA, JCAHO, HCFA practice standards for medical information and documentation.

 Provides customer consultation regarding clinical documentation process and work flow

 Provides formal educational opportunities for Healthcare organizations representing the Clinical applications of Valco Data Systems solutions for Administration, Nursing, Medical Staff and other clinical Ancillary departments.

 Act as a consultant for the process changes in electronic documentation initiatives for Clinical areas during implementation of Valco Data solutions to ensure compliance with established standards for confidentiality and record security.

 Participate as a member of the product development team as a nursing/clinical representative to enhance the quality of care through Medical informatics technology.

 Assemble a team of healthcare consultants during product development to assist the organization in a clear strategic focus that will development industry driven products and ensure the appropriate utilization of company resources.

 Consult with members of the Solutions and Implementation team regarding their specific area of healthcare expertise to ensure a quality customer experience (Business office, Medical Records, Nursing, Information systems)

 Have a firm understanding of Solution selling in order to meet the needs of both the customer as well as the Valco organization.

 Follow established Valco Sales Process to ensure complete and quality customer experience.

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements: Must be an RN and RCP with documented clinical experience  Must have current state nursing and respiratory care Practitioner LicenseMembership in Professional societies recommendedAbility to quickly grasp technical concepts.Knowledge of Clinical documentation requirements and processes including Nursing, Medical and ancillary departmentExtensive understanding of the hospital operationKnowledge & understanding of Hospital Information Systems & Operations.Ability to Multi Task.Excellent Organizational skillsAbility to work in a small entrepreneurial environment.Knowledge of PC programs required including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio.Hospital Administration experience a plus. Strong writing, communication and presentation skills required.Minimum of 50% travel required.
