Sales & Marketing Project Coordinator- Dermatology Office
This position is responsible for designing and developing marketing materials, creating advertising plans, and project management. Must communicate effectively with vendors, staff, management and other individuals in the medical field. Responsible for the administration and utilization of the Nextech software system. Experience in medical field and with Nextech software preferred. Will be required to attend events that will typically occur on weeknights or weekends. Possible out-of-state travel.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Superior computer skills with emphasis on desktop publishing, word processing, HTML, and database management including customization and report writing. Marketing experience developing promotional and advertising materials, blog and e-newsletter content, and market research. Project management experience planning, organizing, and managing time and financial resources to bring about the successful completion of project goals and objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Superior interpersonal skills – ability to interact with management, staff, and patients in a highly effective manor. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. This position requires extended hours as needed including occasional evening and weekends.
Sales and Marketing: Maintains Client Loyalty Card Programs Tracks patient retention efforts Develops marketing materials and works with vendors on vendor supplied materials. Develops and produces SkinSmart e-newsletter for patients. Conducts new product research as needed for management review. Designs and orders marketing materials including business cards, sales cards, flyers, prescription pads, stationary, etc Selects products for sales promotions and package deals. Creates and maintains Point of Sale displays for products. Develops and produces informational and sales seminars. Develops and recommends advertising plans. Handles orders for staff uniforms, scrubs, bags, gift cards, brochures, etc Tracks internal sales bonus program.
Business and Community Relations: Organizes and represents practice in the community at networking and business functions Maintains records on business donations, sponsorships, and prepares gift baskets and materials as needed.
Vendor Relations: Serves as contact person for outside vendors – maintains communication and licensing with vendors – works to obtain discounts and selling incentives. Handles all sales calls from vendors. Maintains skinsmartsolutions@skinsmart.com email address used to communicate with vendors.
Business Operations: Accounts payable – pays cc balances on select companies. Maintains cosmetic pricelist and conducts market research as necessary Updates business forms as necessary Review Superbills ensuring proper charges, discounts and input accuracy.
Technical: Functions as Nextech system administrator – customizes software and forms – trains staff, implements system related procedures and manages bimonthly upgrades. Creates and maintains Powerpoint presentations for seminars as needed. Generates system reports for management. Assists in the development and maintenance of website. Consults with administration to update blog content on website.
Project Management: Plans, organizes, and manages resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
