Sales Representative

Broda Seating, a niche wheelchair manufacturer specializing in providing patient care products in long-term and palliative care facilities, is looking for a Manufacturer’s Sales Representative for South Texas.  In business since 1981, we pride ourselves on providing a superior product with outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.  This person will manage existing accounts, as well as be responsible for new business development throughout the territory.  This position requires someone that likes a challenge and enjoys a hands-on approach to face-to- face selling. Compensation: Base salary plus commission and expenses.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  * Territory development through identification and solicitation of new clients

 by way of lead prospecting, cold calling, networking and referrals via business

 to business selling.

  * Maximizing business opportunities within our existing client base

  * Manage the complete sales process from client consultation and needs assessment,

product demonstrations, quotation development, lead follow-up, price and service

   negotiations, and closing of the sale

  * Servicing and proper maintenance of inventory

  * Meeting or exceeding monthly and yearly goals

* Travel throughout the territory with some overnight requirements

 

Qualifications:

 

  * Experience in sales with an understanding of territory and market development

  * Proven track record of successful sales performance in prospecting, qualifying and

closing leads

  * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and comfortable with online research

  * Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all verbal and written

   correspondence

  * Self-management, problem solving and organizational skills with an affinity

for details

  * Exceptional commitment to customer service

  * Experience selling within the healthcare industry an asset
