Good people make the difference and are the key to Brookdale Senior Living’s success.  Brookdale operates 550 senior living communities in 35 states and employs some 32,000 full and part-time associates; we serve approximately 51,000 residents every day.  Brookdale offers its residents access to a range of senior lifestyles and a full continuum of care services, by providing independent living, assisted living, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and skilled nursing services in its communities.Sales & Marketing opportunity at Preserve at Palm Aire, Pompano Beach, FLAs a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will implement and guide the sales and marketing plan for Preserve at Palm Aire, an assisted and independent living community.  Your primary responsibility will be to increase the occupancy by conducting outreach to the local community, building relationships with professional referral sources and networking groups and planning special events for community members to attend. In addition to this, you will guide prospective residents through the move-in process and work together with managers and staff to ensure excellent customer service to our residents and their families.  You will also be responsible to maintaining a database to track leads and complete daily/weekly reports.  ** This position requires flexibility to travel for training and regional meetings and the availability for some evenings and weekends.  **

* Minimum of two years of experience in outside sales, preferably from the healthcare or hospitality industries required. * Ability to work in a team environment, willingness to be flexible and a desire to work with the aging population required.  * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems is required.  * Experience with public speaking a plus.
