Security Supervisor

Supervises, advises and assists the Security Officers in the performance of their duties. Ensures the safety and security of patients, staff, visitors, students and the physical plant and equipment and supplies by enforcing safety and security regulations. Other essential functions include coordinating and delegating work assignments; scheduling security staff and covering staffing shortages; displaying appropriate professional conduct and appearance; assuring that security staff is conforming to the prescribed professional appearance, conduct and efficiency standards; maintaining patient and staff confidentiality; conducting interviews and contributing to personnel decisions; performing periodic patrols to serve as a deterrent to criminal activities.
