Senior Account Executive
Summary of position:
The Senior Account Executive will bring 5 to 7 years of inside sales experience, preferably in healthcare, to represent our globally recognized outcomes surveys and services to defined markets. Sales leads are generated through the corporate web site and by developing prospect lists and proactively selling via telephone and e-mail. Knowledge of the healthcare industry and understanding of our products and services, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships will all be critical to achieving sales quotas and broadening our market position. Success depends upon drive, organization, reaching / exceeding revenue goals with energy and enthusiasm, and contributing to a collegial team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
□ Strategize with marketing staff on how to generate leads and build market position.
□ Track, qualify, and sell to leads that come through the corporate web site.
□ Maintain client and contact databases and internal reporting systems to identify trends.
□ Follow up with prospective customers and manage each relationship through the sales cycle.
□ Cold call prospect lists to generate leads.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and /or ability required.
□ 5+ years of inside sales experience in healthcare
□ Bachelor’s Degree preferred
□ Self-motivated, driven to succeed with ability to achieve results
□ Proficiency in MS Office applications
□ Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
□ Strong, professional telephone presence
□ Proactive and strong customer relations skills
□ Energetic, organized and articulate
□ Strong writing skills
□ Negotiation skills
