Senior Area Director

The Senior Area Director at Genesis Rehab Services (GRS) is responsible for profitable and efficient operations of approximately 125 sites, 800 FTE and revenue of approximately $8M per month ($96M annually).  The Senior Area Director is responsible for all clinical and operational programs, customer relationship management and employee relations.  The Senior Area Director will directly supervise approximately 8-10 Area Directors and is responsible for their professional development.  This Senior Area Director position will be responsible for multi-site management of facility programs throughout multiple states, and must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland or Delaware. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Management of overall GRS operations in multiple locations throughout PA and NJ.Ensure success of clinical programs through tracking results and implementing quality improvement measures to improve success.Define and implement strategic plans for assigned areas, in conjunction with the Vice President of Operations.Responsible for successful P & L management for assigned areas, implementing initiatives for improvement where necessary.Executes account management responsibilities with key chain customers.Partners with Business Development to identify and maximize business opportunities throughout assigned areas.Partners with Recruiting and Human Resources to ensure successful staffing levels in all locations.Coaches, counsels and manages Area Directors to ensure success.Selects, hires and orients new Area Directors as needed.Partner with corporate support functions to ensure efficient and effective operations.Other territory-wide duties and responsibilities as needed

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a rehabilitation discipline (PT, OT, SLP) or related field, graduate degree in rehabilitation discipline or business is preferred.Minimum of five years experience in the rehabilitation industry, with at least two years of management experience.Multi-site management and long term care experience required.Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills required.Proven leadership skills.
