Senior Client Auditor, DoD Description This position will gain full understanding of Express Scripts government client contracts and performance expectations inherent in those contracts. Coordinate and conduct audit assignments, reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, the adequacy of internal controls, and verifying compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Establish audit objectives and develop audit programs, including time estimates, work plan, and step necessary to collect data and document findings. Use a variety of data analysis techniques and innovative approaches to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement. Perform Client Audit functions for DoD Audits, such as: a) coordinating on-site audits, b) researching DoD audit issues with appropriate cross functional departments, and c) analyzes evidentiary support for issues raised, ensuring data fully addresses the concerns raised. Develop all parts of an audit finding, prepare and review audit work papers and report drafts ensuring completeness, accuracy, objectivity and consistency with government auditing standards. Maintain an effective working relationship with the Government and ESI personnel. Special projects and/or task forces as assigned. Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field with three to five years of relevant work experience One to three years performance auditing experience Thorough understanding of management and organization, functions and processes, and systems and operations of government programs Knowledge of government contracting and TRICARE preferred Knowledge of the PBM or healthcare industry preferred CPA or CIA certification preferred Knowledge of Government Audit and Cost Accounting Standards Ability to compose clear, concise, accurate working papers and audit reports Ability to understand, interpret, and apply complex regulations and procedures Ability to supervise other professionals in gathering and analyzing data Ability to identify and communicate all elements of a finding and evaluate the materiality and significance of audit issues and recommend appropriate means for obtaining compliance Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a dynamic workload Well organized with strong project management, analytical, and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with presentation skills PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, sampling software, and Internet and database management tools Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information is critical Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines and travel EEO STATEMENT Express Scripts is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and will not discriminate against or harass any applicant or employee on any grounds prohibited under any federal, state or local law, including race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, marital status or membership in any other legally protected class.
