Senior Clinical Manager - Behavioral Health

The hospital is currently undergoing construction of a new 200-bed patient tower, a new main entrance, Emergency Department, cafeteria and other areas. Construction on the new main entrance will be completed in June 2008, and the patient tower is scheduled for completion in 2009. With 2,200 employees, Banner Thunderbird is the fastest growing hospital in the state of Arizona in terms of market share, and it is the largest employer in Glendale.  The Senior Clinical Manager provides managerial and/or clinical support to patients and staff, supervises employees and participates in selection, orientation, counseling, evaluation and staff scheduling. In addition, this position will be responsible for staff competencies and for the provision of high quality, safe and cost effective patient care, environmental control and customer service. This role inspires leadership skills in all nursing positions, as well as demonstrates clinical proficiency in the care of patients of age groups served.
