Evaluate existing UHG clinical systems functionality to determine potential for improvement, segment clinical needs, industry changes, and current processes.  Interface with UHG software development teams, field personnel, national/regional Clinical Operations team and other UHG groups as required throughout program/software development cycle to: Facilitate Joint Design Discussions with Business Constituents Develop/Document Business Requirements Evaluate & Prioritize Enhancements New System Development into Releases Develop Clinical System Workflows Develop & Evaluate Alternative Solutions/Workarounds Facilitate Field User Groups Coordinate User Acceptance and End-to-End Testing Evaluate and Triage Clinical System Issues Develop and Implement Conversion and Sunset Strategies Interface to Administrative Platforms Deploy and Train the Trainer on New Capabilities Work with national/regional/local clinical teams to define metrics for measuring impact of new programs/software. Evaluate use of internal resources and systems to maximize current expertise and reduce production operating expense both at the national and local level.Qualifications: 5 years business analyst experience. 2 years experience with the full development lifecycle. Clinical knowledge is not required but highly preferred. Managed care experience is not required but is highly preferred. Effectively interact with senior management. Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong concentration and focus under challenging conditions. Good organization and planning skills. Strong problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills. Includes universal and specific competencies as identified on the UHG performance appraisal. Generate innovative ideas to resolve problems. Customer service focused. Ability to multi - task. Bachelors degree in computer, clinical or business field or 5+ years in one or more business aspects of info systems development. Conversion/migration experience. In depth knowledge of systems and tools. Understanding of current systems infrastructure.
