Key to our growth and success has been our ability to adapt to customer needs, deliver exceptional quality and performance, and to continuously introduce innovative plan service offerings. Job Description:This Sr. IS Systems Analyst position is accountable for planning, designing, coding, testing, documenting, implementing and ongoing support of enhancements or entirely new applications used to support the administration of services offered by UnitedHealthcare Benefit Solutions.Primary Responsibilities:  Support the business by answering questions and resolving problems for both internal and external customers. Develop system specifications, test plans, as well as software, and implement final solutions. Develop system documentation, process flows, and standard operating procedures for efficient system operations. Develop and implement system test plans for new or enhanced systems. Position systems for longevity by staying abreast of changing business processes and requirements and recommend modifications as appropriate. Quantify opportunities for optimization of business process and systems to ensure the proper prioritization of work. Optimize system import and export processes that interact with clients. Optimize system and batch processes to ensure lights out processing.Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. One to two years previous project management experience. Four to six years development experience preferred.  COBRA business knowledge. Experience with COBRAEas or Travis Software. Experience with C++, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2005, SQL, and MS Office Tools. Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic scripting and Crystal reports a plus. Experience with Microsoft Biztalk a plus. Experience with NUnit and NAnt a plus. Knowledgeable in software development methodologies and source code controls. Knowledgeable in system, data and object modeling. Delphi skills are considered a plus. Ability to analyze the impact of decisions before execution. Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills. Possesses strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and works well in a team.
