Design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Review the work of others. Software development under the direction of a Team Lead. Analyze, investigate, develop, test, and implement web applications using industry best practices delivered within technical areas defined by business priorities. Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Technology or related field. Related work experience or demonstrated ability can be substituted for educational requirement. Proficient in object-oriented programming skills, well versed in software development techniques, worked with JAVA web application development tools, and experience with relational databases. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with limited direction. Must communicate well with a small team of developers and present effective solutions to senior members of the development team. Proficient JAVA development skills and functional knowledge of J2EE, JAVA Servlets, JSP, OOAD, HTML is required. At least 3 years Professional software development experience is required. Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.  Experience with Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL), Eclipse or WSAD, JAVA Frameworks (i.e.,Struts) J2EE, JMS, EJBs, and Web Services.  Familiarity with Javascript, Hibernate, XML is preferred. Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them. Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues. Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
