Senior LVN for Family Medicine Services

DEPARTMENT: FAMILY MEDICINE SERVICESSCHEDULE: Various Shifts Available. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduate of LVN training program. LICENSE: Current California LVN license required. CERTIFICATION: CPR required upon hire; must be maintained. UHW Membership mandatory within 31 days of hire. IV certification required. • One year experience in the last five years as an LVN in an ambulatory clinic required. • Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Urgent Care clinic preferred. • Excellent organizational skills required. • Demonstrated ability to work independently required. • PARRS experience preferred. • Ability to maintain courteous relationships with patients, their families, staff and physicians required. • Demonstration of a service-oriented philosophy required. • Willingness to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment required. • Demonstrates and maintains professional conduct including courtesy and patience in all interactions with patients, members, physicians, co-workers, volunteers and visitors. • Willing to provide excellent service within the bounds of one's ability, policies and bargaining unit agreement, as applicable. DUTIES: • Assist in daily routine of clinic as assigned. • Assist physicians with procedures. • Relay information to patients via telephone. • Schedule appointments. • Order supplies. • Details will be discussed at the time of the interview.
